KG1:
Kids Golf First

KG1 is a place for students to practice and find their passion for The Game of Golf

The very first thing one realizes when starting out on the journey to learn this game is that GOLF IS VERY DIFFICULT!  Those who learn to play it well will find something deep inside themselves that will help them through every turn in life. That's why folks who learn to play it well relate it to The Game of Life.

The Game of Life

Controlled Environment

Here at The Studio we learn in a control environment.

A controlled environment allows us to focus on the swing and get it right before we venture out onto the course where things get chaotic to say the least. The frustration of the course and its environments tend to send people running for the parking lot before the round is even close to being over. Here we train the student to be graceful in that inevitable moment and to make sure they have the tools to enjoy the game vs struggle against it creating this Love/Hate relationship most golfers tend to have.

Here we build the athlete, then the swinger of the club, then the golfer. There's those who play golf and then there are GOLFERS.....two very different things. The GOLFER has a deeper understanding of the game and its triumphs and tribulations, the rise and fall....and rise again mindset is only ever built as we go through life and golf is a great educator of that.

Our Process

At KG1, we build the athlete, then the swinger of the club, then The Golfer.

Step 1:
Build the Athlete

We have to first get strong and flexible to be able to swing hard and effortlessly so the ball can fly high and far...and most importantly....STRAIGHT!
With out the balanced mind, body and vision.. you got no chance in this game. When a student comes into KG1, 65% or more of their practices will be physical fitness. Not only will they build a strong body, its the beginning of of their golf-minds being constructed.

Step 2:
We Learn the Swing. I mean, really learn it!

The swing mechanics are specific, multi-functional, and most importantly.. natural.  Once we have built the body, its time to bring the golfer pout of you. This takes a lot of swinging! your natural pendulum must emerge to play great golf. This take Balance and muscle memory beyond the average athlete. We work very hard to bring the golfer out of everyone who comes into "The Studio"

Step 3:
Learn the Game
